Carpet Cleaning

Magic Dry’s (TEXATHERM™) carpet dry cleaning solutions and methodology are the best available. Our process/service includes the following:

Step 1 - Light Furniture Moving and Replacement

Our carpet cleaning technicians will move what furniture they can. What we can't move we simply work around. We move the furniture to one side of the room. Complete the clean on the other side of the room. Then shift the furniture across to the clean side of the room and clean the remainder of the room, before rearranging the furniture as it was before the clean.

Step 2 - Power Vacuuming

There is no need for you to vacuum your carpet first. Our technicians use extremely powerful vacuum cleaners to remove all loose and brittle dirt in the carpet before commencing the dry clean.

Step 3 - Dry Cleaning

The Magic Dry (TEXATHERM™) Cleaning System is a patented process combining a unique chemical technology with heat, agitation and reaction between two solutions. The process produces a capillary action which safely deep wet cleans carpets but delivers all the benefits normally associated with dry cleaning systems.

Step 4 - Stain Removal

Our dry cleaning solutions are very powerful. However some stains require that little extra attention. Our carpet cleaning technicians will closely inspect your carpets after the dry cleaning process. Any remaining stains are then treated with a selection of stain removal solutions, each specifically designed to treat different types of stains, e.g. wine, fruit extracts, paint, oil, grease, rust. Most stain removal is done at no extra charge. Occasionally our franchisees may offer to use certain stain removal products for which they will charge a little extra to cover the cost of the product. However, the charge only stands if the stain is successfully lifted. If magic Dry cannot remove your stains, than no one can.

Step 5 - Pile lifting

The final step in the cleaning process is to groom the carpets. This is known as pile lifting. It serves to activate the softening agents in the dry cleaning solutions and to air the carpet fibres, thereby assisting in the rapid evaporation of the dry cleaning solutions.
